John Glenn High School is located in Bay City, Michigan, and is a part of the Bangor Township School District. We are a Class B high school, consisting of 850 students and 40 staff members. We have been recognized by U.S. News and World Report as one of the Best High Schools in America in both 2015 and 2016.

At John Glenn High School, we pride ourselves on being a small community high school with big ambitions and achievements. We are a multi-award-winning school, a leader in education, and we offer an outstanding education for all students. By the end of their high school experience, our graduates are prepared for college, careers, and beyond.

We offer a challenging curriculum that consists of STEM classes, Advanced Placement courses, dual enrollment opportunities, and rigorous core and elective classes. Our students are held to the highest academic standards, and are supported by a tremendous and dedicated teaching and support staff. Our staff members build strong connections with our students that last a lifetime.

We are also proud of the state-of- the-art technology we have in every classroom. Every classroom is furnished with all the latest technology, including interactive Smartboards, projectors, document cameras, and laptop computers - giving our students and staff all of the current technology needed to meet the demands of 21st century learning.

At John Glenn High School we also have very strong athletic, performing arts, and recreation programs. Our school is recognized for our competitive and successful sports teams, our state champion theatre program, and for having fantastic recreational opportunities for students of all ages. We also support and connect with our community; working with community organizations and our district-run charity, Project Hope, to take care of those in need.
