Mr. Loop became a board member because he believes he can help Bangor Township Schools reach its potential to become the finest school district in northeastern Michigan. He feels that having taught and coached in the district for 31 years gives him some perspectives that might help that goal become a reality.

Mrs. Kaczmarek became a board member because, as a parent, she wants to ensure her children receive a quality education. As an educator, she wants to ensure that all children receive a quality education. Mrs. Kaczmarek works in education, attending meetings at the state level and staying current with curriculum and the latest best practices. Bangor Township Schools is an amazing district and she wants to be a part of this quality team to help guide the district to its full potential. With student achievement as the district goal, she keeps that in mind with any of the policies and procedures they adopt as a board. She wants to continue with this goal of excellence with a laser-like focus for all of Bangor’s students.

EDUCATION: Graduated from Ferris State University in 1991 with a Bachelor's of Science degree. Jason is currently the President and COO of Bay Plastics Machinery in Bangor Township.
FAMILY: Married to Margaret Forgash. Two children; Dakota and Garett
Mr. Forgash moved back to Bangor with his family in 2005. After enrolling both of his children in the Bangor Township Schools, he became more and more interested in the district - its successes and its struggles. He hopes to become more active in working with the administration to continue to improve the education and extracurricular activities for the students of this district.

HOBBIES/INTERESTS: I enjoy both playing and watching sports.
Mr. Seymour became a board member because he wants to make a difference for the kids in the community. His goals as a board member are to see that the kids are provided with both the best education and opportunities to help them be successful in the future.

Mr. Shaffer became a board member because he knows he can provide positive input and direction in very difficult economic times. Mr. Shaffer’s goal as a board member is to provide Bangor’s students with the best possible programs and educational opportunities that we can.
